What to expect when renovating

Renovating can be stressful and at Dellwood Constructions, we like to prepare our clients for what is to come. If you have never renovated before, here’s what we suggest our clients prepare for when renovating with us:

#1 Lots of decision making 

During the design phase we work collaboratively with you to finalise a design schedule that encapsulates your vision whilst meeting project budget and time constraints. To do this we will need you to make clear decisions on project layout, design and interior selections - we’re here to help if you need it.

#2 Fast turn around times

Whilst developing the project design we ask that all options put forward to you are carefully reviewed and decided on in a timely manner to ensure your project can commence as soon as possible.

#3 Issues may arise

Whilst all due diligence will be completed before the project commences, unfortunately issues can arise when working with older existing structures. In this case we will consult you immediately and work together to find a solution that best fits both parties.

#4 Household disruption 

Unfortunately renovating can be messy and noisy. Before construction commences we will discuss with you the potential disruptions and how we will best mitigate these. We will also discuss best working times during the project to ensure you can get on with your daily life as best as possible.
