Our Story
Director Steve McIntyre is a licensed builder and carpenter with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality residential projects across South East Queensland. His hands-on approach, clear communication and problem-solving mindset have earned him a reputation for reliable, well-managed builds.
Over the years, Steve balanced running projects with renovating homes, raising a young family, and navigating personal challenges that shaped a more considered approach to both life and business.
In 2023, Steve and his wife Mel stepped back from day-to-day work and took time to reset as a family. Travelling around Australia with their two daughters in a caravan gave them space to reflect on lifestyle, family and what people truly value in a home.
That experience became the foundation for Dellwood Constructions - a business created to provide clarity, guidance and confidence throughout the building process, not just construction.
At Dellwood, the focus is simple: to make building or renovating feel well-managed, transparent and rewarding from start to finish.
